Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting.
Helper, UT - September 28, 2006
The College of Eastern Utah's Western Energy Training Center ("WETC"), in conjunction with Southeastern Utah Energy Producers Association's ("SEU-EPA") annual symposium and banquet, is celebrating their Grand Opening. WETC is an industry-driven institution dedicated to providing quality training in coal, gas/oil, utilities, transportation and related industries. It is funded in part by a grant from the Department of Labor, President's High Quality Job Growth Initiative.
The Ribbon Cutting and Symposium will be held at the Western Energy Training Center at 847 North Hwy 191, Helper, UT 84526. You reach it from Highway 6 by turning on Highway 191 toward Duchesne. You drive past the Castle Gate Power Plant and continue about ½ mile. Turn left at the WETC sign (formerly the Willow Creek Mine). The Banquet will be at the Elks Lodge located at 23 East 100 North, Price, UT 84501.
